What category have you chosen? I am going to choose a narrative structure analysis. What subsection/s will you focus on? Better essays will have a narrower focus. Well, I plan to focus more on the genre of the film since it is important to put which group the film belongs to. But also in conflict since it is important to know why the film was made and what conflict the film carries out and finally the characterization since it is important to describe the aspects of the main characters as they act and how they are. I think this could help my analysis of the film I choose.What subsection/s will you focus on? Better essays will have a narrower focus.
What two films have you chosen? The two film I chose is Attack on the block and Babylon.
Why do you think these films work well together?I think that these two films make a contrast since each one has a conflict that they must resolve and in both films, we see how each person wants to achieve their goal, for example, we see in the Babylonian film that Blue wants to be a rapper and is discriminated against, but that I don’t stop him to keep going. In the attack the block movie we see how Moses and his group of friends try to save their community from aliens but before all we see the different one from racism since these groups of young people are afraid of being a small gang but in the other film we see how for being Jamaicans they are insulted by the white police and people who live in the neighborhood.

What key scenes will you analyze through your chosen analytical lens? Why?
The two films that I am going to talk about have several key scenes that can be chosen as evidence for the work, such as the Attack the block film, we see several scenes at the beginning that a group of youngsters rob a white person and there we see that they killed an alien and the others want to take revenge and they want to kill the culprits. But it is a brave story as Moses achieves the goal that these aliens do not attack his food and no more people die. While the movie Babylon we see how Blue wants to sing and by the rejection of white people in a scene we see that she tries to dock and harass where she tries to defend herself. Because I think there are several scenes that can be included in the paper to compare since in different stories we see two different styles that would be good for the rehearsal.
